I see you are one of the “everything but soccer” people in Mexico.

😀

i’m not in that bunch, but I understand. Football information and “analysis” in Mexico is too overwhelming, excessive and sometimes sickening.

On the other hand, I’m one of the guys who dislikes Mexicans’ love for Brazilian soccer, as a proxy because of our own frustrations.

The Verde-amarelha was a beautiful team to watch in the 20th Century. Not since Dunga became coach, decades ago. Not now, in any category.

Yes, I despise everything related to Mexican men’s football, both National teams and clubs since 2014, when USMNT gave them a free pass to the World Cup.

I don’t love Brazilian soccer because of frustation, but I’d rather see any other team in any given tournament progress instead of Mexico, given that they have shown more merits than “El Tri”.

It turned out that we were fighting for the 1st place in the group... to get :UKR vs :ESP in 1/8 :d

Don't worry. This Spanish team is very weak defensively, so you can easily win.

This ended up being true. Our defense is not good but your attack has been even worse, at least in this game, and I think the Ukrainian coach made a mistake by giving up control of the ball so easily. We got lucky to convert an early goal and that was enough.

We did another mistake )) And it was a very stupid one ))
Our best attacking player got 2 yellows and missed last game at the group stage.
But in the afternoon at the day of 1/8 game it turned out that FIFA gave him 1 game of disqualification...
... becaues he was found in teachnical zone during or before the last game of the group stage
All the prepared tactics was trown into the waste basket just before the game.

Now I suppose Spain can win the torunament.

It was a very easy match, i didnt expect that with Nigeria, in the next round our "media classic" Mexico, i really hate both press to generate a unexistence rivality.

:ARG 4 vs 0 :NGR

:COL 3 vs 1 :RSA

    • I am assuming the FIS will fight very hard to keep it.   From a substainability standpoint it also really doesn’t make that much sense to axe Nordic combined as long as ski jumping is in the games anyway. For the same reason that all three sliding sports are basically a package that will live and die together.

    • I can’t see it being kept. Unless some very important  people have asked for it.
    • First event at the World juniors (team events) had 6 nations win medals.
    • I hope they keep it. Even though the sport doesn't exist in Slovakia at all, it's still very exciting to watch.
    • will miss this stage because of the Middle East war, since the flights with Qatar Airways have been cancelled and can't be replaced in time (especially for the bicycles)
