Del Toro did his work for Pogacar, who is now going for a 77km solo to gold. Surprise surprise

In Europe, is this race airing on normal TV?  Here in the USA, we have to have an online subscription to FloSports (which is also how most of the Diamond League for track is shown, and several other sports).  They air the Vuelta and Tour de France, but not this WCH.

Artem Nych, the next sudden 'phenom' from the Portuguese circuit (where we often see riders sprinting up the climbs like madmen, and then end up being caught one day or another), is still there

I'm sure it very much depends on the country, but in  and  you do not at all need to worry, all 266km on public TV  (although I'm watching on HBO/Eurosport, because I prefer the Dutch/Belgian commentary duo there)

 

Same for the big monuments btw, especially the ones in spring, which are often considered a higher priority than the world championships.

FloBikes will put up the replays on YouTube (or at least they have of all the races so far except yesterday's Elite Women)...but by the time that comes around, it's hard to avoid spoilers.

In Italy, the World Championships and the Giro d'Italia are usually broadcast in full on public television from the start, while the Tour de France and minor events are broadcast in full on pay-per-view channels (the Tour is broadcast partially, the last 100/120 km, on public television).

In Denmark it's not on public TV, but it is on a channel that a lot of people have in their TV packages.

sure! many free tv around Europe have an extensive coverage of this race and of all the main cycling races through the year

actually, also the junior, sub-23 and senior women's events have had hours of broadcast

in many parts of Europe road cycling is still a big thing
