:USA Lindsey Vonn ruptured her ACL. But, she said she's not in pain and will compete in the downhill on Sunday.

I just hope she doesn't hurt nothing bad, because it's a really big risk- unnecessary, in my opinion. Doesn't she need approval from some medical committee on Team USA, or can she compete at her own risk? What's your take on it?

On the other hand, this is how a rational person behaves, but in his case it is not surprising, because in sports he had no chance of winning medals.

Lindsey just said in a press conference that her late coach would have told her, 'It's just 90 seconds.  What's 90 seconds in the span of a lifetime?'

Kilde decided to retire from the olympics

Brignone will also skip up downhill for 99% certainty.

From what it appears to me, she can compete at her own risk.  I also hope she will take care of herself...and yet when you're this close, I know the temptation might be too great.

Wondering if she'll do DH (and perhaps SG), but then have someone else compete on the Team.

She said she intends to do all, will see after DH.
