From what it appears to me, she can compete at her own risk.  I also hope she will take care of herself...and yet when you're this close, I know the temptation might be too great.

Goggia probably had a similar injury 4 years ago, but then there were 3 weeks until the competition in OG. My only concern is that Svindal, instead of being a more rational people on this team, seems to be pushing her to take even more risks. It`s crazy for me:(

She's mentioning that she's been through something similar (back in 2019 during WCh), and ended up on the podium still.  She says that was worse back then...we'll see!

Until today, I've only heard about a strong knee contusion, nothing about any ruptures. And yet she has a prosthetic knee...

Lindsey was just asked about how she feels about how spread out the Olympics are...she wishes she could go to the OC, but she can't since it's 5 hrs away.  Also wishes the athletes were closer together, to be able to see other events, etc.

This is in freestyle skiing but I remember :CAN Philippe Marquis competing in moguls with a torn ACL in 2018. He made it through the qualifiers before a DNF in the first run of the final.

Of course, but here we're talking about a person who already has a second knee, almost entirely artificial, and is 41 years old...

So looking at the 1st Training start list and removing the 5th skiers from :ITA:AUT:SUI:CAN & :USA we can count that the M Downhill will have likely 40 starters

If I remember correctly in order to be able to start in the Downhill or Team Alpine Combined Downhill one must take part in at least 1 of the 3 trainings.

Correct me if I am wrong
