TV broadcast times for everything, based on UK times.  Will vary because of course lots of national broadcasters will be doing their own shows, so there might be geo-blocks.   eurovisionsport.tv

24/06/2025    13:00    Maribor    Division 3    Day 1
25/06/2025    13:30    Maribor    Division 3    Day 2
26/06/2025    14:50    Madrid    Division 1    Pole Vault Special
27/06/2025    16:15    Madrid    Division 1    Day 1 - Full coverage with Field Event Streams
28/06/2025    13:30    Maribor    Division 2    Day 1
28/06/2025    16:50    Madrid    Division 1    Day 2 - Full coverage with Field Event Streams
29/06/2025    13:30    Maribor    Division 2    Day 2
29/06/2025    16:50    Madrid    Division 1    Day 3 - Full coverage with Field Event Streams

Nothing to complain about, just about one hour of overlap between what is sure to be exciting endings for Division 2 and early stages of Division 1 at the weekend.

Division 2 is always interesting to watch.

So many athletes that shouldnt belong there.

And it's where the lady pole vaulter who gets a PB at 3.80 on her third attempt can genuinely win promotion for her country.

And that's great too. :)

So random actually.

Lithuanian team is super weak this year, there's not a chance in the world we're not ending up dead last in 1st division.

Lots of the athletes are just still not in form, since it's the start of the season and most are trying to peak for the Worlds.

Other than that, Morauskaitė is after injuries, Ainė Palšytė is out and her replacement is also recovering from injuries. Our main female 3000m steeplechaser is injured, our main female hammer thrower is retired. Matusevičius also kinda recovering from injuries and Mykolas Alekna is skipping it, so Gudžius is going instead.

I definitely see the potential of getting a single point in at least ten events if not more.

I very like athletic team Championship but if your team is in middle of 16 super league, i do not see there any special motivation to finish for example 6th or 12th.

But i do not know how improve this motivation? More money for better standing? Maybe some extra quotas for european championships? cut it back to 8 or 12 teams?

Any ideas?

    • Yes, she was unlucky, but it could just as easily have happened during some training, like with Gut, etc. Brignone has been essentially injury-free throughout her long career, which is very rare in this sport. It's unfortunate that this happened after her best season ever and just 1 year before the Olympic Games in home, when she just missing of win the Olympic gold medal in her great career. With the gold in Cortina, she would have become a legend of Italian skiing, on par with Tomba. Now she's still the best Italian woman in history, but the miss of Olympic gold will likely haunt her for the rest of her life.
    • It sad to see this season, as I remember, that Fede last year was winning everywhere, when she competed and finished and now we haven't even managed a single podium in the giant slalom, and it'll probably stay that way until the end of the season. Without Fede and Bassino, unfortunately, we're out of good cards in this event. For me Goggia should probably skip the giant slalom at all, becouse she has no chance of a podium and she risks further injuries. If even Goggia finish 8th or 10th? What difference does it make? If she couldn't get a podium finish today with so many DNFs at the top skiers, she probably never do. Della Mea is OK this year, but let's be honest, she's not World Cup podium material. Overall, it's a sad picture, and we have a 0% chance of anything in Cortina unless a miracle happens in Brignone return.   We have two chances for Goggia in DH and SG + maybe a dark horse in Pirovano/Curtoni in SG. That's all. In technical events, we have a 0% chance of medaling, and that's sad. Our federation also lost Colturi in this situation... In any normal country, the head of such a federation should be dismissed for disciplinary reasons and this case should be investigated by the minister, or even the prime minister, but not in Italy...
    • Mikaela Shiffrin  off the podium today (Edit: Oops...I thought this was slalom, not Giant Slalom.).  Nina Astner  entered the 2nd run in 30th place, but had the best second run, jumping up 18 places to 12th.
    • Maryna Gąsienica-Daniel with a 5th place PB in Semmering GS!
