Disclosure, I can't watch this video right now, but I'll do what everyone does on the internet and assume what it says. This is exactly what needs to happen. Casuals and normies need to be talking about this. It's also why I said if the Canadian men won gold, it would completely distract from the larger problem. Hope it continues.

My not a sports fan mom, unprompted, brought up the lack of funding that Canadian athletes are receiving. So it’s definitively breaking through.

At this point I'm convinced the government may finally actually do something with this situation, even if it's gonna be very little.

 

Not because they genuinely want to do so, but because this consistent lack of doing so is drawing so much criticism that eventually they got to do something to save their reputation.
