if the official website is properly updated (and I think it is),  Italy wins the medal table with 19 gold medals (thanks basically to swimming, athletics, gymnastics and volleyball) 

 

 are second with 15 gold medals and then there's a bunch of Nations with 10 gold medals

 

in total 40 Nations won at least 1 medal (and 35 at least 1 gold)

Not that I'm complaining, as it is one less "rivalry" for my country, but it is crazy that  are so poor in sport (with very few exceptions) compared to some other ex-Yugo countries. Their population isn't that small compared to some of the others either.

Is Su Yuksel's 4:36.54 in the 400m IM heats legit, or what happened there? That'd have easily been final worthy at the Olympics (close to the medals, even), but she ended up 4th in the final with a nearly 20 second slower time, that seems….unlikely, to say the least, to be real, no?

It's not real. The system was quite unreliable for the first day. Another Turkish girl was initially credited with a 1:42 in 200m butterfly, they corrected it days later. I guess they forgot to verify this one.

8 (1-5-2) medals in total for Team Slovakia. Which is by the total amount of medals one of the most successfull EYOFs in our history.
