Lou noooo :( it's over for the overall this season.

Finally first podium for Jeanne Richard  I really thought she was gonna finish 4th once again but she was great in the last lap!

I would postpone the overall World Cup until the third trimester. So much can still happen in March. Difficult courses, who is how tired after the WCH?
We should be more concerned about Simon and Braisaz, who are currently competing for the worst shooting result. Will they be able to turn things around for the World Championships?

I was counting on the fact that the recent terrible performances would shake up these people and it seems to have worked:) Giacomel yesterday said in an interview that he was hurt by the attacks of fans on social media and stood up for his teammates. It's great that he finally broke through on the shooting range, because running it looked pretty good the whole time. Wierer was also good but it's a shame about that last shooting, because 2nd place would have been a sure thing. The atmosphere will definitely improve before Anterselva and that's good. The Italian teams need to stabilize and defend their places in the top 10 in the Nations Cup: this is guaranteed 5 places in 2026 games.

That's a clear obstruction, Sweden should be dsq.

Right. Weronika Nowakowska said it's one of the strongest cases for a potential DQ she has seen.

:EST with a great 7th place ahead of :GER B or C team.

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
