Not sure why this Kronplatz GS is always in the middle of the day on a workday.. I've said it many times how much I enjoy the night events, but if they don't have the money for lights, just have it on an empty weekend, or on a holiday around Christmas/ New Years. It's stupid to have it on a random Tuesday at noon..

GS on that track is too dangerous at night and they don't want it during the weekend because they would have to lose some tourists to make room for the athletes

Aare is the only place where they have a night GS, but that track is basically straight and flat, otherwise the IF wouldn't allow a night GS also there

moreover, on a dec through feb weekend, they're always soldout in Kronplatz

a world cup ski race is just a kind of advertising for places like that, their business is ski-tourism, not sport

Brignone & Hector bomb out in 2nd run and Alice Robinson wins the Kronplatz GS after a massive 2nd run. Brignone had 0,81 advantage after the first split and made a simple error so it's Colturi as the best Italian in 4th. Bassino DNS in the 1st run but I don't know why.

she was in bed with a heavy Flu

Brignone may lose the general classification to Gut by not finishing a lot of giants slalom: 3 DNFs out of 5. Today she could have taken less risks and finished 2nd in front of Gut but she lost 80 points to her.

Bassino hasn`t only had problems with her health this season but also with her bad form.

Btw, Marcin Szafrański said on Polish ES that Petra Vlhova will miss the World Champs due to the knee recovery. I know the news on her return has been slow which suggests there's nothing positive to report in reality? @hckošice

Yeah, she is not fully prepared to compete for the medals. Just showing up to finish somewhere in the middle of the result list is nothing for her. She is already aiming the Olympics.

The problem it`s that she losing places on starting list.
