Are we going to get any luck at the moment. Another medal lost due to bad luck,

And another gold for Australia who are tightening their grip alongside France in third/fouth. Feels like we will be 5th.

This gold was already baked in; men’s team pursuit is big later, I think GB will push the Aussies very hard, and a shock win is definitely possible. Emma looking great for the Keirin and individual sprint too so do try to see the positives. 2 boys into the climbing final; modern pentathlon starting tomorrow and let alone Matt tonight and the relays to come.

Ollie Wood and Ethan Hayter are doing the Maddison is that as expected.

Hayter was locked in todo the Omnium; the Madison pairing was always unknown but it was suspected it would be a true pursuiter and vernon. When Tarling was not picked for the track team I didn’t know which direction they would go.

A combo of Wood and Hayter is a bit of a surprise for me given Ethan’s workload. Hope that means he is flying.

He must be. GB coaches rarely get things wrong.

Well. Of all the bad luck. I think we had them.

And against Australia. Feels like the battle is between us, South Korea, Japan and the Netherlands for 5th and meeting half of UK Sports target.
