Canter penalties stand on the official results. No idea where the offense occurred but there we are. GBR lead France by only just over a fence going into the jumping tomorrow.

Going to be tight.

The team really need a gold medal in either the individual or team with the difficulties coming up for Equestrian GB

For the love of god man - sports in this country are not going to be defunded or disappearing post Paris regardless of the medal count.

The Jumping team, Eventing team and EVEN the dressage team without our most decorated star are very likely to do well (and currently have been doing so in the Eventing).

Have a beer, sit back, try to enjoy the Sport!!

Couple of bullets dodged for Becky Downie, with both of the Dutch gymnasts who made the Uneven Bars Final at Worlds last year failing to beat her score. She's now 6th with two subdivisions to go (level on 14.666 with the Italian in 5th, but annoyingly behind on execution score), and maybe 4-5 more gymnasts who look capable of challenging her score.

OK - so I am a fan of Adam Peaty and I hope he wins this evening, but I am getting really sick of BBC's constant hyping of it. It thought his "interview" with Gordon Ramsay was bad but the filler they're using today is grating on my nerves.

    • GOLD FOR MOL/SØRUM!!!!    WOO HOO!!!      Phenomenal match this was, the Qataris played really well too (their ball control really let them down at the end though)   Probably one of the best finals I’ve ever watched (Hamburg Elite 16 in 2022 between Bryl/Łosiak and Meeuwsen/Brouwer was another)   What a grind it was from them to come back from down 10-13 down in set 3, also having to save 2 MP’s.
    • I will send my votes after my university exams.
    • I'm going to withdraw as a voting jury member. I definitely want to follow the contest, but I just need a short break from voting in the TISC. Thanks.
    • 3 decades after the separation Czechoslovakia won gold at the ECh in W Doubles
    • what a disappointment must be to South Africa, not only loosing the second final in two years, but also doing it after managing to do the impossible: eliminate Australia.   But what a World Cup, and what a New Zealand tournament!!!
    • who came into the world cup losing 10 straight matches, were not even given a chance to reach semis, defying all odds have won their first ever world cup.   Suzie Bates and Sophie Devine were in the team that finished runners up in 2009 and 2010 and have now finally won a world cup. This was also the last T20 match for Suzie Bates, meaning she won't try to make the team for LA, which could have been her second Olympics after Beijing 2008, where she made the Kiwi Basketball team.
    • Albania's votes already sent!   Overall good level of songs, I liked around 16-17 of them.
