Also Conference League will be a new format: instead of the group stage will become a single 36-team League stage.

Each teams faces six different teams (three at home, three away).

The top eight overall advance directly to the round of 16; sides finishing from ninth to 24th will contest the knockout round play-offs, with the victors going through to the last 16.

The matches of League Stage will play from 3rd October to 19th December.

Stadion Wrocław in Poland will host the 2025 final, which will be played on 28 May 2025.

  • 2 weeks later...

Miracle!!!! :p

La Fiorita :SMR  won the match 1-0 (and the penalties 4-2) and reach the Second qualifying round of Conference League.

This is the first win in 13 years of European Cups (previously only three draw..) and the first time in 2nd QR, reached with a win instead of a transfer from UCL.

In this round also a draw from Tre Penne  (1-1 with Floriana, late gol at 95') with agg 2-4

:SMR : 4 points !!

Chelsea FC :ENG  :champion: won the Conference League (4-1 Betis)

"The Blues" come back from 0-1 of first half and scored 4 goals in second half.

9' Ezzalzouli (Betis)

65' Fernández

71' Jackson

83' Sancho

90+1' Caicedo

A little bit of :ITA  in this success: the coach Enzo Maresca

Chelsea are the first team to win all five of UEFA's men's club competitions, their first Conference League success following two UEFA Champions League triumphs, two in the UEFA Europa League, two in the UEFA Super Cup and two in the now defunct UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.

False, UEFA has had 7 official competitions including The Intercontinental Cup and Intertoto Cup, which they have not won.

Juventus is the only club, that had won all 6 of UEFA competitions, before they introduced the Conference League. Chelsea has 5/7.

    • awful... the track is as fast (slow) as in Hamar Meike Veen skated the same time in the 1500m and Serena Pergher did the same in the 500m I think by February it will be even faster
    • I like the concept of this Festival of Music! I will also share a couple of Christmas songs from Spain's TISC Open 2024 representative David Bisbal.   The first one 'Los peces en el río' (The fish in the river) is a flamenco/pop cover of a traditional villancico originated in the 1500s and the second one 'Todo es posible en Navidad' (All is possible in Christmas) was relased last year.   Los peces en el río   Todo es posible en Navidad   I hope you like them and have a wonderful holiday season!
    • you don't even have idea how it works   last week he was the best of the field and now he's in bad shape?   on Friday he was 24th despite 4 (4!!!!!) missed shots and Yesterday he suddenly went out of shape?   be serious!   he either just had bad skis or he got sick, like many other athletes (see Vittozzi)   the snow in LGB is usually shit, results are always heavily influenced by that and Italy is one of the teams that usually struggle a lot in that place   nothing new and nothing to be worried about
    • Don't look now but the Bears might actually win the division in Ben Johnson's first season as HC...
    • Festival of Music   For this year’s Festival of Music I thought I would change it up a bit. Since we are approaching the festive holiday season, I want you all to post some festive songs from your country. If you don’t celebrate Christmas then perhaps some other song that has a special place in your heart during an important celebration.     I’m going to start with a Christmas song from Ireland’s TISC Annual 2023 representatives Picture This.     Picture This - This Christmas
    • pair Danilova/Tsiba hasn't fulfilled the national criteria to participate in the Games but their skating federation has sent a request to the national olympic committee for an exception and to include them to the TeamNL. https://www.schaatsen.nl/nieuws/knsb-dient-verzoek-in-voor-olympisch-startbewijs-danilova-tsiba/
    • Juniors were there recently and the track was awful   Although that's not necessarily bad. Tracks don't all need to be fast, a slow track (like the horribly slow one in Poland) simply favors a different style of athletes. Training a lot there doesn't really give much extra advantage though, not like in sliding sports where of course as host country you make sure your athletes know every single meter a year before the Olympics.    And to get back on topic: speed skater Elisa Dul broke her tibia and fibula in a training fall yesterday and will obviously be out of the OQT and so the Olympics.
    • The PSL race in Davos was (yet another) insult to a beautiful discipline. The red course (which was actually yellow) had several holes and an exposed ice sheet, which made the athletes slide way too long, causing DNFs or massive time losses. The only positive note is that Caffont won despite racing on the more dangerous course in the final
