I think with this one, :CZE Rampula sealed the deal...even if he doesn't get the direct spot, he's safe to get the OQR nominative OQP

:UKR Horodynets is also in very, very good position for the same reason, if he doesn't get Today's direct OQP, he's safe in 2nd place in the OQR

:ITA Massimo Spinella now has to hope that at least one between :CZE Rampula and :UKR Horodynets gets Today's OQT, as he's gonna be only the 3rd best among those 3 at the end of the day

Horodynets effectively needs to get a quota today as if he doesn't and his Ukrainian teammate does then he'll most likely miss out on the Olympics due to the 2 per country rule. As long as Mazzetti doesn't win a quota here then there'll be a tense battle at the last world cup event for the reallocated host quota.

Gowin bottles it as usual by getting a worse score in rapid than he did in precision. However I'm hoping for anyone other than Mazetti as it gives Gowin a realistic fighting chance of earning a quota through the rankings in the last world cup event.

actually :GBR Godwin needs that both :CZE Rampula and :UKR Horodynets get Today's OQPs, because those 2 and :ITA Spinella are already beyond reach for him in the OQR

oh, yes :UKR already have one OQP, therefore if they get 1 Today, they're done

which means that in the OQR only :CZE Rampula and :ITA Spinella are way ahead of :GBR Godwin

so, :ITA are basically sure to get at least 1 spot, either Today or via OQR... and :GBR are also in very good position to earn a spot, given that all those ahead of him in the OQR and still eligible are going to take 2 spots Today and only 1 via OQR

He doesn't, if the other Ukrainian gets it as well as Rampula then Horodynets can't earn one via rankings so in that scenario he'd also be in with a shot at the last rankings quota.

Mazzetti win QO and Spinella on 99% will win QO with the ranking in 9 june:clap: We repeat our contingent from Tokio 2020: 14 shooters: 6- shooting and 8- shotgun. Unfortunately, our girls in rifles and pistols are embarrassingly weak and that's why we won't be able to enter thr team in mixed doubles :(

:UKR:ITA OQP 25 m RFP

One of 2 worst possible scenarios happened today. This means it'll take a big performance from :GBR:POL:AUS and :PER (likely a win) next week to topple Spinella.

Rampula from Czech Republic seems to have some kind of mental problem: in another competition in a row, he shoots great in the qualifying rounds but fails in the finals. But thanks to the ranking he will advance to the Olympic Games on 100%.

Finaly a quota for us :UKR. Congratulations for :ITA

And I think :CZE is safe via rankings too.

We have 6 quoats - exactly the same number as for 2020. And again no shotgun for men and air rifle for women.

    • Today is a day without Italians in the leads positions. I`m worried that they are not trying to revive this our sprint. There is only one Bosa and he is old. Pergher is young but she is also only one. It is a pity. After the Olympics they will probably 100% give up on the entire sprint. Our medal bag in Cortina will depend 90% on Ghiotto, just like it did on Fabris in Turin 2006. If Ghiotto will be in goodshape, he can even win 2 individual golds + a team medal. If not, it will be a flop. Apart from him, only Lollobrigida can compete in the mass start and possibly Giovannini in the men's mass start.
