  • 2 weeks later...

:MGL seems be very strong here. They beat here :BEL and :POL who plays here in experimental squad, with 3 guys who for everyday plays in 5x5 basket.

But later in the day we did managed to beat :JPN 21-20, it wouldn't be nothing special if not fact that :JPN was leading 20-15 and still did lost the match :hyper:

:SUI loses to :MAD.

Not sure why everyone is shocked, they were the massive underdogs but I thought there was a chance that they could pull off the upset.

    • Exactly. Recent developments of the construction haven't been particularly encouraging, and while they'll probably get everything sorted just in time, a lot of North American fans have been quite vocal about every minor inconvenience.

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
