Big choke by  Patrick Jany. Was in an easy qualifying position in 50m rifle 3 position but shoot an 8 in the last shoot to place him 10th.

Jány missed the final by 1 point

 

Total failure of our shooting team. The sport we expected the most bring us only disappointment. Not a single final is a historic failure. Never happened before. Well, there still W Skeet to come, bu by looking at the current shape of all our shooters I do not see sadly anything better even there

In Rifle& Pistol we have made finals in 5/7 events . In the only 2 events we missed out we finished 6th(Mixed AR) & 9th in AP(M) just missing the Final. 
 

Good going by  Shooting team. Excellent effort by our shooters & vindicates the trial policy put in place by our shooting federation.

Does 3 positions still use that odd format, where kneeling and prone are for everyone, but then standing is the position that decides everything?

With San Marino en Lebanon sadly out, I think apart from the one  wrestler these were their only chances?

Tomasz Bartnik  is a very nice surprise  He started badly but was able to subsequently climb up the table. Though he is the 2018 World Champion (3 positions), he did not show much in the recent months so the expectations were not high.
