:BRA vs :USA in a women's football final, just like the old days. :d

I remember that Norway was very strong long time ago.

Another game with these bizarre extra time, almost 20 minutos in the second half.

That’s what happens when there’s an excessive amount of time wasting.

They've cut the 15+ mins added time BS from men's football to a large degree including the latest Euro. We know FIFA doesn't want the Olympic tournament to grow too much (hence it remains U-23 competition plus three exceptions) so they probably don't give a hoot if 30 minutes are added on here

I was at the :BRA vs :ESP match last night. Exciting game of football and a fun atmosphere even though Stade de Marsaille was maybe a fifth full.

Lots of Americans were there and most got on the Brazilian bandwagon, nothing better than a western hemisphere fight for gold.

Brazil’s MVP was Lorena, just did not make a mistake on goal until it didn’t matter.

Awful tournament for the world champions, in front of a crowd of about 9 people for that match sadly

That's what happens when Spain vs France in men's football starts in one hour. Even Spanish fans had other priorities :p

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
