Just for the record... all three Polish foil fencers lost in early rounds to three different semifinalists... I call it a bad luck

Can't wait for the team competition though.

We are not in good shape here, that's one thing. Two, Volpi is not as good a champion as Vezzali or di Francisca. Three, the USA entered this weapon more strongly and that was enough to humiliate us. If Russia were here, we wouldn't even be in the 4th. At the moment, even as a team, the USA is the favorite. However, it must be worrying that Italy is having the worst event at the Olympic Games, just like 3 years ago...
