I was 'against' this being Olympic, but am enjoying the show a lot more now that I've just switched from 'omg why is this Olympic!?' to 'lets enjoy some fun moves'

I think breaking is more fun to watch than half of the sports in the Olympics.

 

 

The big problem is that the subjectivity here is very difficult to deal with. Since Brazil is weak here I don't care, but for the favorite countries it must be terrible.

Kind of sounds like breaking is one of those sports where there's all kinds of 'world championships' and 'biggest events in the world', like boxing or skateboarding

well, I go with world championships that they list in athletes bios on olympics.com... You'd think that's what they should have used for seeding then...

No, world ranking. Serpentine system. If some of these girls didn't bother to participate in competitions to score points, it's on them.
