well world championships have like what? 24 teams? but yea Great Britain got their tickets in 2012, though i do remember a team sport, maybe field hockey in rio, where the host team had a minimum requirement before they get in

Handball here is painfully non existent, i'll start teaching my kids now, make them rewatch all the games, gotta start somewhere
