Commentator clearly didn't watch javelin recently  (I mean, Kitaguchi, obviously)

 

But yeah, in terms of depth and overall qualify, women's javelin is not fantastic to say the least. Definitely my least favourite event to watch in the athletics

Commentator has been watching athletics for 35+ years, so he knows his stuff. Plus Kitaguchi isn't at all that spectacular if we have to be honest. Still, if we have a close competition i can live with that.

At least Kitaguchi is a clutch performer. Kind of like Tentoglou: in terms of outright meters it's not crazy (good, but not crazy), but she performs when the pressure is on

Excellent, so we avoid the nonsense of the later heats having a massive advantage because of knowing the times they need.
