Lyles’ haters are gonna need to eat some humble pie.

God forbid someone is trying to make this sport entertaining.

Humble pie? That cocky fucker is always taking about breaking WR’s only to never get anywhere close to it, that’s why people don’t like him. He also talked down on Knighton when he was in high school, as an up and comer. He gives off “used to be a bully” vibes. Sorry I’m blowing up, just ranting.

Her best jump was once a 2.05 prior to the 2.10. Random is not the right word, more so non-logical, when your whole season is around 2 and you have jumped only once 2.05 in your career. Stefka had 18 jumps 2.05+ , so only time will tell, if it was random, fluke or whatever..

Yaroslava is 22, firstly. Secondly, she often doesn't have much competition, so why does she need to jump higher if she reached gold already? She set the world record, that is enough for her to be included in history already. Logically or non-logically, she is tallented and you could not disrespect her because she broke your national treasure's record, that's it.

I still genuinely wonder what the actual haters have to hate. I mean, I get not liking or even disliking athletes, but are the things like bringing in some Yu-Gi-Oh! and things like that so bad? :p

Apart from Churandy Martina, I don't think I remember any sprinter being genuinely humble, they're all just super hyped up testosterone bombs :d

It’s his personality and his arrogance :dunno:

One heat loss at the Olympics doesn’t mean he’s humble, sorry to break it to you :d

I didn't say he is :p

Not a single one of these big time sprinters is, they're all hyped up to the max with testosterone levels that'd make doping control officers cry :p

I would have liked Thomson to win & he deserves too. I don’t why they made the athletes wait so long at the start line. Anyways, since Bolt’s retirement WA has been crying out for a STAR so Lyles & his cocky arrogance fits nicely with WA trying to Promote him as some kind of superstar . When the reality is he is not an exceptional sprinter like Bolt. It is what it is.

Oh sorry, I misread your reply

I’m sure a lot of them aren’t, but DeGrasse is humble. So are a couple of others.
