Wasn’t able to watch the majority of the match, as I was too tired, but Felix Auger-Aliassme finally won another Grand Slam match, taking down Dominic Thiem in 5 (6-3, 7-5, 6-7 (5), 5-7, 6-3)

 

I love both so I would’ve been happy with either result, but for the sake of Canadian tennis was hoping for it to be FAA.

WOW! Big big result for Indian Tennis!!

Sumit Nagal  ( WR 137) took out WR 27 & seeded player  Alexander Bublik  in the first round proper in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 , 7-6
 

In grand slam tennis this is a first win by an Indian Tennis player over a Seeded player since 1989

[13]  Grigor Dimitrov got the better of  Marton Fucsovics (honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if he was more known for his huge muscles rather than his tennis), winning 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (1), 6-2

 

[11]  Casper Ruud won against  Albert Ramos-Vinolas 6-1, 6-3, 6-1

 

 Emma Raducanu also got her campaign up and running defeating  Shelby Rogers 6-3, 6-2
