Barelli is their enemy and they are taking revenge on the athletes. And unfortunately, water polo in close matches is 90% dependent on referees. And I`m afraid that until Barelli leaves, it will be like this. This also shows that Malago isn`t able to do anything, because in most federations we have problems, even in those where we used to have an advantage, e.g. fencing. The Paris Olympics showed this.

Man, they completely changed the rules of this sport

 

No surprise the scores are so wild in this world cup on Turkey.  The matches are from now on played only in 25 m pools, which means no more counter attack chance, the game is now more physical and bring a lot of luck. The attacking times was also shortened, the power play times changed as well to 15 seconds. Penalties whistled after every contact in the 5 m area + we have now also VAR in WP. and from now 14 players will be on the match line up instead of 13
