Thank you for the update, Vojthas.

 

As you noticed, France, Croatia, and Hungary had decided to keep their shooters intact instead of exchanging spots to the rest. The competition would be unfair if these NOCs had to take away even just a single berth from one of their athletes who won the quota places during the qualifying period. 

 

How about for Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, and of course, China? How will they select their own shooters for Rio 2016?

A NOC is allowed to exchange only one quota. So, both of the other quotas will go to unqualified nations.

Yup. Only the 50 m rifle prone. The other unused berth will be distributed to the unqualified nations. Do you know when will the ISSF announce the tripartite?

It could be fairly soon. MQS period is over so we also know all unqualified countries that have MQS.

 

Together with this 2 unused Chinese quotas now we have 29 quotas left. Meaning that at least 29 more countries will get a shooting quota (could be more).

Yes, altogether we have 47 unqualified NOCs that have MQS qualifiers.

South Africa obviously won't be looking for reallocations. Similar could be for Barbados as they are seemingly not too interested in tripartite places/wild cards.

You can scratch the Netherlands for that, as our shooter didn't qualify anyway and won't do so with some "reserve way"
