Joking aside, always the likely result.

We're in that annoying bubble where we're good enough to win promotion but not really good enough to ever stay up.

Yeah, sadly it´s true.

Plus this time you weren´t really lucky I must say, that Austrian fairytale here and Denmark´s imunity thanks hosting next year tournament did not really helped your team neither, however this Norway team was doable so you can still have some regrets from today´s match especially the first period too big respect cost you the top division this time.

Anyway, I am pretty sure you will return very soon back

Traditionally: UK and Poland out. It will be similar with Hungary next year. I feel so sorry for Italians that in 2026 they have the Olympics at home and it would be useful to play in the Elite for a year. We used to be able to stay ahead for 2-3 years in a row, with Russia and Belarus in the Elite.

    • If Colturi were to return to Italy, we will have another super duo after Goggia and Brignone. If Colturi has to return, it would be right now, when alpine skiing is so popular here. There are still girls like Pirovano, who are quite young and are already started winning. Alpine skiing in Italy is similar to ski jumping in Poland: there are speak about no young talents, but there is always someone new – it is a matter of the popularity of these sports in these countries and the large amounts of money invested in them.
    • World Cup Finals in Lillehammer (NOR)   Women´s Slalom:   1. Mikaela Shiffrin    2:07.61 2. Wendy Holdener    2:08.93 3. Emma Aicher    2:08.97   Full Final Results HERE

    • Holdener beat Aicher for 2nd place by 0.04 so Aicher has to win the last GS to have any chance for the overall (trails Shiffrin by 85 pts).
    • Shiffrin wins by 1.32 secs! Business as usual
    • Anna Trocker takes the lead despite a big mistake. Maybe there is some future for  alping skiing
    • Lucas seems to be on another level in Giant Slalom right now.
    • Pinheiro Braathen wins the last GS and the small globe! Odermatt DNF in the first run and he's really tailed off in the last races.
    • Christa Deguchi (judo)   Olympic champion in 57kg in Paris and multiple time World Champion
