Summer European Youth Olympic Festival 2022

1 Day to go...

The awards (Medals in symbol of love (heart))

and

a "demonic" mining sprite (associated with legends about permonics, which are demons that inhabit and guard our mines, but mainly protect and help the miners.)

Hope we are not going to scare many young kids during the medal ceremonies though :p

I believe this where the livestreams can be viewed: https://eoctv.org/live/

in Italy we're going to have the same 2 NOC's streams we already saw at the Mediterranean Games (they shouldn't be geoblocked)...

the exact link can be found in the Med Games thread...

Apart the 48 European NOCs (No RUS & BLR for obvious reasons) will participate also 1 athlete as the European Refugee Team in the Boys Javelin Throw event https://results.eyof2022.com/athletes/31811-EOC-hawana-molham this is also the results system of the games, no idea though if it will also work as live score, but assuming the previous EYOFs had disastrous result systems I would not be super hyped about this system for now neither

    • Yeah. It was pretty bad that they cancel the contract with the original creative director after 7 months of work. I feel like politics, in this particular context of the changing of prime minister and the cabinet, may had caused changes in organizational decisions regarding the Sea Games including the direction of the opening ceremony.
    • That's what I figured.  Wouldn't be a proper lead up to an Olympics without some media-fueled fearmongering.
