The US numbers are going to climb faster than Reza on a speed wall, and we deserve it honestly. Americans are idiots in the truest sense of the word.

3144 Tests yesterday- 40 New positive cases.

2 new deaths (1 from the retirement house in Pezinok (60 clients (almost all) and 19 employees are positve, 6 clients already passed away...

currently the obscure thngs that happened in this facility and the quarantined roma slums, especially the one in Žehra where it is expected that almost everybody is or will be very soon infected...

are the main issues in the country and the top headline of these days here right now) and 38 fully recovered patients

So we have now 1089 Confirmed cases in Slovakia (+40 yesterday), 3104 Tests yesterday (39864 tests in total)

11 Deaths (+2 Yesterday), 203 Healed (+38 yesterday)

around 200 hospitalized, 10 in serious condition and 2 in Critical.

Based on the data above these 8 countries have indeed done a great job as their recovery rate is higher than 50%. The most successful country had to be South Korea who is leading with 74.50% with the world highest recovery rate. Germany and Iran have both done a good job as well to maintain a high recovery rate of more than 60% despite having high number of cases. South Korea, Austria, Australia and Malaysia cases have stabilised as these 4 countries have recorded less than 100 cases on daily basis. I only put the data for the top 8 most successful countries here whereby their recovery is rate more than 50%. The rest of the countries name who are not listed above all have recovery rate of less than 50%. It is not easy to maintain the recovery to rate of more than 50%. Some countries have very low recovery rate and their recovery rate is less than 10%. Those countries with low recovery rate of less than 10% I did not put their data here.

So what is the secret of success for these 8 countries who have achieved more than 50% recovery rate?

1. Mass testing is done on daily basis for their citizens. Anybody who wants to get the test can be tested.

2. Early detection of cases. These 8 countries managed to detect their patients early and gave them early treatment which lead to high recovery cases.

3. Good contact tracing and good strategy to identify the source of the spread in the cluster and prevent the virus from spreading.

4. These countries have even drawn maps about the clusters and could even identify how the virus spread in the cluster. Once a person is infected with the virus, the close contact, family members and relatives of the infected person will be immediately called for testing which managed to help prevent the virus from spreading.

5. These countries also have good healthcare facilities and their healthcare facilities is ranked as the top 10 best in the world.

6. These countries are also well prepared right from the beginning to face the pandemic. Lots of quarantine centres and hospitals are prepared in advanced to host the patients. These countries have also prepared more than enough beds and ventilators for their patients.

So what can we learn from these countries?

Early detection and early preparation save lives. Prevention is always better than cure. Some countries with poor recovery rate and high number of cases should perhaps pay a visit to these 8 countries and learn from them how to manage the pandemic better.

I am very amazed with Germany. They have a high number of cases up to 142,210 cases. However 85,400 patients have recovered and this really show a very high recovery rate. To have so many patients recovered from such a huge number of cases is indeed a great successful story. Congratulations to the whole medical team from Germany who have done such a great job.:d:thumbup::clap:

What surprised me the most is the poor recovery rate and high number of cases in US and UK. Thought these 2 countries have the best healthcare facilities in the world and are more than prepared to face the pandemic. As it turns out these 2 countries are too slow to react and are facing the worse outcome and worse scenario of all. Sad to say there will be high record of death cases in these 2 countries.

    • Italy will boycott the Azeri stage for protest against the international federation.
    • Likely for Tannheimer, quite unlikely for Galmace Paulin. She's far from being assured to even start in the WC before turning 20. Basically she'd have to get a spot this season, which could actually happen if she takes the extra-ticket at the JWCH. Anyway I don't see her making her way to gold in Oslo. Tänglander has a few seasons to do it, we'll see.       Quite surprisingly so, indeed. Barring her horrendous finish Richard would have made it 2 in one go. We should have some more names in the list in 2025.
    • There are some of Slovakia's finest young squads at the World Juniors in recent years
    • Alpine skiing also we have a lot of problems: the men's team is very weak and has been winning a few podiums a season for several years and the our best skier- Dominik Paris is 35. We still have a strong women's team but 3 of the 4 leaders are over 30 (Goggia, Brignone, Curtoni) and Bassino is 28. Another 2 years and we will have the same problem as the men's. There is basically no cross-country skiing without Pellegrino for many years, biathlon is based on 2 individuals with one of them has a 35 years. Vittozzi's injury was enough and we haven`t a single podium this season after 3 stages of the World Cup. As for 1 year to the home games the situation isn`t optimistic.
    • Hail to the Reds... Commanders. First time since 1991 Washington QB has thrown 5 TD passes in a game (which isn't all that improbable in the modern game alas Dan Snyder...)
    • Italy is much better in alpine skiing, in The end all Nations have a Limited Talent Pool. Norway is far better than Sweden/Finland in Cross-Country skiing, alpine skiing and Biathlon, but Sweden/Finland are far better in ice Hockey.  Great Britain wins far more medals than Germany At Summer olympics, but GB is also inexistant in Winter Sports and Most popular Team Sports (Volleyball, Handball, Basketball, Ich Hockey).
    • Thanks, great stat! Tannheimer wont turn 20 until August 2025, so she has The whole Season To Join Kristiansen and Neuner. Too Bad that she was ill this week. I think Galmace Paulin and Tänglander could also do it. I think Grotian (born 2004) is The First female Biathlete born after 1999 To make a World Cup Podium. On The Mens side multiple Athletes (Perrot, Giacomel, Uldal) have already done it.   E. Öberg was 22 and a half when she First won.  Dahlmeier was 21 and a half.   Edit: Grotian only narrowly missed The Podium in The Individual at The 2024 World Championships when she was still  19 year old.
