Apparently multiple Russian and Belarusian athletes were not approved across the first five sports by the IOC. Pete Asayonak wasn’t granted a liscnese in the men’s 89kg weightlifting . That’s should open the door for Boady Santavy.

With respect to the rest of the field, Canada should be the strong favorites to qualify in both tournaments. Anything short of a win in both tournaments would be a disaster.
