I didn't watch the whole drawing that my children did so i guess some balls might have been heated or sth... lol.

Because the outcome of it is just too good to be true :)

Looks like only :EGY secured qualification today.

:CPV faces bottom nation :SWZ, but still needs to win to guarantee to finish ahead of :CMR who faces :ANG

:GHA is pretty much qualified, not only do they need to lose to :COM to have any chance of missing out, :MAD would have to beat :MLI and close an 8-goal differential gap.

Over in Asia, :OMA and :QAT tied 0-0 while :KSA defeated :INA 3-2

Having groups of 3 teams is a terrible terrible idea for several reasons, specially in football because it matters a lot to have 3 days rest or 6 days rest between matches

FIFA could simply award the quota to Qatar and KSA. it's more or less the same, they are the host and they play the 1st and 3rd matches in these playoff groups.

I know they announced the format long time ago but I think (and to be honest I'm pretty sure) they had certain teams in mind when they made up this terrible format. and exactly those 2 certain teams failed to qualify directly and needed a little help from FIFA to give them handicap for this round.

It's unlikely but I still hope Iraq and UAE do something in the last matchday and surprise FIFA. :pope:

My predicted pots

1 :CAN  :MEX  :USA  :ESP  :FRA  :ARG  :ENG  :POR  :BRA  :NED  :BEL  :CRO

2 :ITA  :MAR  :GER  :COL  :URU  :SUI  :SEN  :JPN  :DEN  :IRI  :AUT  :KOR

3 :ECU  :AUS  :PAN  :NOR  :EGY  :POL  :PAR  :ALG  :CZE  :SVK  :CIV  :TUN

4 :CRC  :UZB  :RSA  :KSA  :JOR  :HON  :UAE  :JAM  :CPV  :GHA  :BOL :NZL

It's quite likely that the uefa play-off teams will go to the last pot since the qualified teams won't be known at the time of the draw.

Or maybe they choose the highest rank team of each UEFA play offs path and place the unknown teams in given pots this way. The same with inter-continental play-offs

Last time Wales and Costa Rica were sent to pot 4 despite they had enough ranking to be placed in higher pots.

Some more serious predictions . Much more serious than mine. I like them a lot - no Poland though but honestly this is very possible
