The Olympic ranking for canoe slalom starts today, with the Asian Championships in China being the first event where athletes can earn points. In my personal opinion, only shameful idea is continental ripartition of qualificated teams. Only 16 places for europe (55 federations), 7 from COMEMBOL (10 nations). This is outragoeus. -
CONI, the FIGC and the Italian government have already dismissed the idea of a wildcard, calling it “shameful” and stating that “teams must qualify on the pitch”.

For Italy, these are the worst European Championships since Covid- only 1 medal. I know Russia and Blr are back, but we're still stand in our results when a Finnish or Ukrainian girls is making progress. Finland probably didn't mean anything in this sport back then. Where did this girl come from, does anyone know?
