Chinese youngsters need to step up, the only one I knew is He Bingjiao. I really feel sorry for Wang Shixian. Missing out on second Olympics in a row despite being in top 10 in World must be heart breaking. Apart from He Bingjiao, Sun Yu is also very good and still young. Me too, Wang Shixian is my favorite female badminton player, I was rooting hard for her to get an Olympic spot. Since she already retired, I just want her to have a happy life, maybe get married already with Chen Long. So Tang Yuanting sort of retired too since she's not a part of the national team anymore, she's going to continue her university studies. Chinese players who retired: Zhao Yunlei, Tian Qing, Yu Yang, Wang Yihan (age 28), Wang Shixian (age 26), Tang Yuanting (age 22 ) and maybe Wang Zhengming(?).
