The 2nd stage of Okolo Slovenska (Žilina - Banská Bystrica) was a qute challenging mountains stage (10 climbs)

 

Nico Denz from Sunweb won the very small group sprint ahead of the GC leader another rider Jannik Steimle of Deceuninck-Quickstep, 3rd finished Jempy Drucker of   from Bora-Hansgrohe.

 

In the GC Steimle still leads ahead of Denz and Shane Archbold the rider of Deceuninck-Quickstep.

Plus she was on her way to a very convincing win in the Giro. Painful fall, caused by a small move by Lianne Lippert (nothing to be blamed for really), Marianne Vos and Mavi Garcia went down as well but seemed to be relatively fine.

Martin Laas won his second stage at this years Okolo Slovenska, This time the Bora-Hansgrohe rider won today the stage 3 of the competition from Banská Bystrica to Žiar nad Hronom, ahead of Sean de Bie (Binoga-Wallonie Bruxelles) and David Van Der Poel (Alpecin-Fenix)

 

In the GC the germanJannik Steimle still lead the yellow jersey ahead of Nico Denz and Shane Archbold.

The Tour of Luxembourg has already been one hell of an organizational disappointment, but after the drama of the first two stages, today they managed to make it even worse. There was a freaking truck driving on the course
