Remarkable run from Iceland as well, but France is too much I am afraid. Today Germany-Italy... a huge one. Imagine Italy win the title beating Belgium (overrated though), Sweden, Spain, Germany, France and Portugal

so penalties..Germany lost only once in penalty session, yes correct in 1976 against Czechoslovakia but won each other including the 1996 semifinals Euro against home England. Italy won in 2006 the probably most memorable in world cup against France but also lost with France in penalties Quarter Finals in 1998 WC in France.

 

this is only the first penalty shootout between those teams in their 9th meeting at ECH or WC.
