That was an epic fight from Doll, I've rarely seen anyone in any sport go that deep and just completely tear himself apart  Doll's last lap was the perfect example of exactly what sports is about.

He would have deserved it, but JTB was just a bit too good, which is impressive in it's own right.

Marte Olsbu Roeiseland will not compete in Le Grand Bornand, WC 3. She will instead focus on some more training towards the WCH.

Well, with Hammerschmidt not starting in the IBU cup, will she be able to pull Germany back together this week? Probably not yet, but happy that she is back :)

So the only thing that can stop a Boe is yet another Boe? :mumble:

Crazy season. To see Lithuanians with good starting numbers in a World Cup race is definitely a rare sight. But if they keep getting into points, then they won't need to start like 67th, 85th and 94th.

Although, we've never had two starting in the first 40.

I did not realise Bo was going to miss all three.  Wow, if wins, that would be amazing.

The US switches Jake Brown and Travis Cooper between the IBU Cup and the World Cup.

Interesting women's team for Germany this WC round:

Marion Deigentesch (World Cup debut)

Maren Hammerschmidt

Denise Herrmann

Janina Hettich

Vanessa Hinz

Franziska Preuss

It's the first time since Presque Isle in the 15/16-season Franziska Hildebrand has not been selected for a WC.
