In any case, we are guaranteed to have at least two debuting nations.

 

Since we have the one boat per nation rule, they are actually mathematically guaranteed a quota. Potentially boats from the B Final will also qualify.

 

Edit: I guess technically we could have a scenario where Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia and Zimbabwe finish with the same rank and all four nations choose the same gender

then only LM2x qualifies for Algeria.

 

Rules:

 

an NOC may qualify a maximum of one (1) boat. If two (2) boats from an NOC meet the qualification criteria at a Continental Qualification Regatta, then it is the highest-ranking boat that qualifies.
