And there's a difference between Olympics and regular, annual World Cup seasons. Sure, people like you and me will remember (and in my case, I'll just think 'Oh yeah, the season that was cut short but still had two deserving champions'), but the general public will just think "Brignone/Kilde won a World Cup overall title" and that's it.
