Going to be gold and silver for Morocco in the women's T12 marathon (visually impaired), where the silver medal winner is running with a one-armed guide  

 

Have not seen that before, a guide who also has an impairment.

High winds out at the lake are making steering a bit....eventful  for some of the canoe paddlers.

Very good results for     with 71 medals (two more of Tokyo) and final rank #6

 

24 gold medals, only Rome 1960 we won most gold 29 and total medals 80

 

Final rank #6 (better placement only in Rome 1960 and Tokyo 1964)

 

Italy won a medals in 12 disciplines, 37 in paraswimming (third nations in ranking)

 

Best italian athlete of Paris 2024: Stefano Raimondi 5 gold and 1 silver (paraswimming)

 

 

Italy in the last two editions, has reached unthinkable levels, if we saw the results of London 2012 (28 medals) or Beijing (18) and Athens (19).

Canada finished with 29 medals and 10 gold (double Tokyo). Results have been getting worse every cycle but this year bucked the trend.

 

To close the games Canada's last two entries finished fourth, fittingly.

Powerlifting is so weird with the Judging being such a big part about also very confusing to the naked eye.

Great Games for  

 

49 Gold 44 Silver 31 Bronze

 

Second overall.  

 

Very small number of disappointments, maybe one Games too many for a handful, but otherwise a great two weeks for us.
