I don't know if it's still the same but there used to be a funny rule in AIBA, if you lose a match by KO, you can't participate for something 6 months (or 3 ? can't remember)   well at least

by the way, normally in the gold medal matches you don't see many robberies like in the early rounds...

 

but it looks that today wasn't the case...

 

more than one gold went to the "wrong" fighter...perfect end for this farce of a championship...:facepalm::wall:

 

EDIT: sorry, it was the light heavyweights...I meant Nurdauletov beating Ruzmetov (not that this changes anything in the whole question)...

it may be that tey had already decided who would win depending on who had paid them off ... someone had bid higher than the UZB for super heavy :yikes:..... the problem is that they have made the win / loss criteria absolutely dense , with no way to say who has won other than the arbitary decision of the referees , the referees do not justify their decisions in any way ......... I remember they used to give the bout scores and then even count the number of punches  but now it is utter crap
