Shouldnt those 3 nations be already qualified for games?

Depends on how many continents are represented in the final. At least 4 continents have to represented in the 10 boat field, so technically only the Top7 boats are qualifiers for sure. We currently have two continents in the final, so the 9th boat in the final might not qualify to Paris if only Europe and Asia will be there.

Oh FUCK, we are in a really hard SF in men's K4. That's what we get for winning our heat...

:CZE  :HUN  :GER  :ESP  :FRA  in the same SF, only 3 of these boats will qualify for the final.

Men's K4 SFs

SF1 - :SWE  :KOR  :AUS  :SVK  :SRB  :POL  :CAN  :JPN  :KGZ

SF2 - :IND  :POR  :DEN  :LTU  :UKR  :ITA  :NZL  :IRI  :LAT

SF3 - :KAZ  :CHN  :CZE  :HUN  :GER  :ESP  :FRA  :ARG  :USA

Good luck to everyone, this will be a bloodbath.

SF1 - :SRB  :SVK  :CAN

SF2 - :UKR  :ITA  :LTU

SF3 - :ESP  :GER and then one of :HUN  :CZE  :FRA

We will likely have more than 7 European nations in the final, so qualifying for the final might not be enough for them. We got screwed really hard by this draw, Spain and Germany will take the top two spots in SF3 and we will have to fight against Czech Republic and France for our survival...

Well, I hope :CZE gets the spot. Sorry, but sometimes I believe that some countries have had enough of success and may leave a spot for someone else this time. Our K4 is struggling basically since Rio 2016, did not even qualify to Tokyo. And I hope this will be different this time. Not saying that Hungary will not qualify but maybe one of the "favorites" may not make it to the final. From our SF either Germany or Spain. We will see. Let's hope for the best of each of our countries. Anyways, still hoping also Czech women's K4 will qualify for the first time in the history, when it took many years and now they have the strongest crew I have ever seen. Let's hope :-)

    • There is a saying to never trust a Russian in gymnastics. Well, ex-Russian turned Bulgarian Elvira Krasnobaeva is transferring now to Armenia.   The "official" reason is for personal, family matters, but in reality it's most likely because she wasn't selected for Paris, which angered her parents. Even though she is only 16, had her breakthrough just this year and started making mistakes, when they amped up the difficulty.   Our Federation's President Iliana Raeva said today, that she received calls also from France and Azerbaijan about Elvira's mother basically auctioning her. Raeva mentioned, that Krasnobaeva was going to be a vocal point in the next Olympic cycle, but now she can hit the road and missed her chance to ever compete for Bulgaria, even if she wanted to in the future.    We are also going to make a new Group from next season. After the disappointment in Paris, 4 out of the 5 girls announced their retirement.
    • true, but was expecting India to get troubles from Australia, not from New Zealand, and specially not by being bowled out. Makes the group phase interesting though
    • The 4th best team in the world beating the 3rd best team in the world is not a huge surprise though.
    • I’ve been recently introduced by some friends to cricket (or the t20 version of it, at least) and actually liked it so I’m following the World Cup that’s happening during this month
