so are we back to the system where only 6 athletes qualify to Skeet and Trap finals , because it's the situation in Lonato

it already happened in :KAZ Almaty back in May (as I reported in the previous page in this thread)

since the Russian oligarc is no longer the ISSF President, there's been a restoration in terms of competition formats (also in rifle & pistol shooting we're back to the situation we used to have until Tokyo 2020, basically cancelling the new rules decided after the last Olympics)

this what we have...and it will last at least until the Paris Olympics

I liked the 8 Semi-finalists format more tbh :d

Is that true for pistol and rifle as well? They were still doing the weird new format at the European Games.

yes, they already came back to the Tokyo format in the Baku WC stage in May

the EGs were managed by ESC (even if they were also sanctioned by ISSF as OQT), so it might be that they didn't apply the restoration yet

    • India and Pakistan totally losing the plot in this sport, sad.

    • Interesting, for only 2 months i think i have seen some kind of coin from all of the big countries - Germany, Italy, Spain, Holland, France, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Ireland and yes the 2 euro from Croatia. But some of them were the smaller ones, 10, 5, 2 cents.    Expectedly there aren't any from the smaller countries so far. Nothing from the Baltics, Cyprus, Slovenia, Malta, Andorra etc. But also a bit surprising i haven't seen any from Greece yet.    Don't know from what part of Italy are you, but it's safe to say that when summer hits there will be a lot of Bulgarians visiting Rome, so i'm sure they'll bring some of our coins to spread around.
    • I choose to collect only coins in circulation (and I have also found coins in circulation that should not be on the market; you can find a bit of everything). From my experience, it takes 4-5 years for coins to reach southern Italy, so I have no idea how it will work in Bulgaria. Incidentally, I am curious to see when I will see my first Bulgarian coin. I have not yet seen a Croatian coin (introduced in 2023!).
    • Yes, i saw that there are a lot of commemorative coins. But to get some of those, i would need to buy them, as i don't know how much of them are in circulation. And the chances of such making it to Bulgaria are rather slim.    Still, if i find some sports ones on a good price, maybe i will order a few.

    • Have you already started looking for the hundreds of commemorative 2 euro coins? There are loads of them, including sports-themed ones.
    • Don't know if someone else is collecting Euro coins, but since we joined the zone it's been fun looking at what you can get.    It took only 2 months, but today i finally got my first Slovakian coin.  @hckošice
