@dcro tickets to all but one session of the Eventing - Dressage

Those are the most unwanted tickets in America

I don't get it. You got those tickets? Or did you get everything but those tickets? :d

There are 3 sessions of that part of Eventing. We got of 2 of those. (And Basketball 3x3 Preliminaries tickets). On top of our Canoe Slalom and Weightlifting tickets.

Cool. :d Yes, there will be three sessions of eventing dressage in Tokyo (2 morning + 1 evening).

Enjoy. Eventing dressage tests have been revamped recently. Now they include the strech circle, which I immediately liked. :p

EDIT: Looks like the (very) shortened Olympic test will not include the strech circle. Too bad, but the intensity remains high.

No, I would love to go, but I am saving the money for LA2028.  It’s closer and more convenient & not a huge time zone change from Detroit.

Yeah LA 2028 is a little bit closer for me too :p. It’s not like I live in LA county or anything.

It would be great to have the olympics in your hometown.  I’m afraid Detroit will never be financially stable to host such a big event.  They were one vote away from the 68 games though.  That is our olympic history.

Volunteer uniforms:

These should give some good hints as to the overall branding of the games (as in what colors the stadiums will use as wallpaper and how official things will look)

    • Finals are set    An all-Canadian final on the women’s side, as Team Homan looks to win their third title of the season (and improve to 18-1) against a hungry Team Einarson who have had a less than ideal start to the season, they were also the last Canadian team to beat Homan over a year ago (same event coincidentally), while on the men’s side it’ll be a battle between Olympic medalists as Team Mouat goes against Team Gushue!
    • Yeah, it was clear. But i repeat, we need it? I think no.

    • In the past the ISU has now allowed countries without a Federation to compete.
    • yeah I know    I mean it wasn't a different team specific for that sport. it was the same CC team participating in both sports.
    • It is run by a different federation though
    • from what I heard , Iran has registered to participate in Alpine, CC skiing, SkiMo, Skating (they didn't mention which discipline ) and ... (this one will be surprising ) ... Curling    Curling is not a sure thing yet, the NOC has to approve it. the team is very new. I mean very very new, only few months ago they gathered few people to start the sport  you can't lose 100-0 in Curling, right ?    anyway it will be first time ever Iran participating outside of FIS disciplines. ( I didn't count Ski orienteering in 2011 which was the same as CC)   nobody cares about winter sports here. therefore finishing last won't have consequences. they can afford sending very weak teams. (which is not the case for the main Asian Games)
    • World Junior Championships ( Dushanbe)   Day #4 Medallists   women's -78kg Gold:  Brenda Olaya Silver:  Mathilda Sophie Niemeyer Bronze:  Eva Ronja Buddenkotte &  Dandara Camilo   women's +78kg Gold:  Lee Hyeon Ji Silver:  Celia Cancan Bronze:  Chihiro Yamaguchi &  Safa Soliman   men's -100kg Gold:  Mukhammadsodik Sodikov Silver:  Nozomu Miki Bronze:  Azhdar Baghirov &  Fares Mekhoukh   men's +100kg Gold:  Denis Batchaev Silver:  Kanan Nasibov Bronze:  Saba Kardava &  Ibrahim Tataroglu
    • 100 days to go until the first multi-sports games of the 2025
    • 11 medals out of 15 athletes. for whatever reason  we sent an incomplete team of 16 athletes (only 1 left for tomorrow) I wish I knew why  I can guess though   the result is indeed very good in such a competitive sport but lack of talent was never our problem in taekwondo. it was always there probably much more than any other country.    but the problem is the transition to the senior team. most of previous junior world champions never even made the senior team. (the new federation is doing better in this regard though)
