It was deemed too unsafe to keep it going. ;)

Well then ?

Supposedly :NEP:PHI:THA have entered this weeks Asian Championships :yikes:. Nothing is official since the entry lists haven’t been posted yet, but the FIL Instagram had evidence of such sliders. I believe :KAZ:TPE:CHN:JPN:KOR should also been in attendance. We really need an Asian Winter Games with luge at this point.

well, in the past couple of years those entries were pure fake...

when it came down to the actual races, there were just those 3/4 Koreans we saw at the last Olympic Games...

so, I'd rather wait for the official results before starting the celebrations...;)

Natural Track Luge European Championships, scheduled for Tomorrow and Sunday in Moscow, ended up in a farce because of the unexpected hot weather...

the track was shortened to the minimum lenght required by FIL (basically, a few pushes and a turn after the start...the races have been won with an 11-second run) and the competitions have been held over a single run (of that kind)...:yikes::facepalm::hairpull::thumbdown:

not only, men and women's singles have been anticipated to Today (cutting 1 training day off) and open doubles and the team relay will be held tomorrow...

however, here are the medallists...

women's Singles

Gold: :ITA Evelin Lanthaler

Silver: :RUS Ekaterina Lavrentjeva

Bronze: :AUT Tina Unterberger

    • Agreed. But OTOH, the chances of a Male Team pursuit medal also seem rather slim at the moment, so why the hassle of dropping someone.
