Been done, remember the scene in Mike Bassett England Manager when he writes the squad on the back of a cigarette packet and accidentally calls up veteran non-league players called Benson and Hedges

It's the big season-ending Championship day in the  National Junior College Cross Country Running event.  Teams are in place,   Track is in perfect condition.  And then, all of a sudden...... attacks!

You will see that in French Alps 2028. Kenyans are still considered the favourites though.

Nah, I will bet that the Cross Country running events, if they ever happen, will be staged gratis for the public at low altitudes in Grenoble or Annecy city centre where there won't be much snow.
