Our national handball league is mostly Polish & Spanish people. If the Essex/Yorkshire reports are accepted, we haven't quite got our heads around Caribbean and subcontinent cricketers yet, never mind polish! Ireland for the first time really ever is starting to have this; there's a number of Polish, Lithuanian and Nigerian names popping up all over the show, which delights me. We exported our guys long enough to the four corners of the globe, overdue some imports!
Olympian1010 7,665 Posted July 25, 2023 #32 Share Posted July 25, 2023 I got distracted by judo, but Jackl became the first double gold medalist of the Games (achieved in swimming of course). “Sport has the power to change the world. Jinzha 596 Posted July 25, 2023 #33 Share Posted July 25, 2023 Decent start for cycling team today, with 2 golds and a bronze in the time trial on what looked like a rainy airport in the middle of nowhere.
Olympian1010 7,665 Posted July 25, 2023 #34 Share Posted July 25, 2023 with a gold medal in the pool. It’s been a good week for their swimming program “Sport has the power to change the world. hckošice 13,720 Posted July 25, 2023 #35 Share Posted July 25, 2023 Hard to believe, but this was the most successful day in history at EYOFs. We never won a gold and bronze the same day within a couple of minutes. Amazing.

Olympian1010 7,665 Posted July 26, 2023 #37 Share Posted July 26, 2023 Judo commentator reminds of me of @Vojthas He is Polish, so obviously the accent is similar, but you guys have a similar style of “setting the scene” as well. “Sport has the power to change the world. Gianlu33 3,737 Posted July 27, 2023 #38 Share Posted July 27, 2023 Women's road cycling event is over, and we know only that Spain won silver. Anyone have more info?
Olympian1010 7,665 Posted July 27, 2023 #39 Share Posted July 27, 2023 Good battle between and for gold in women’s skateboarding (street). comes out on top in the end. Overall, the level of the competition was good, but nothing too crazy. Europe still has some work to do to catch up to North America, Latin America, and East Asia. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire.
