Equestrian FEI Jumping Nations Cup 2023

Recommended Posts

Poland, Ukraine, France, Belgium, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Slovakia will be in the EEF Series Final, where the winning team or the best ranked non-Division 1 team qualifies for Europe Division 1 of the next calendar year. The EEF Series does not qualify a team for the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final.

I don't understand why :CAN refused a slot in the Jumping Nations Cup Final...

Maybe to give up a long, expensive and tiring trip to focus on the PanAm Games?

Egypt withdrew?

that’s strange as the head of Egyptian federation (who also head of Egyptian Olympic Committee) keeps saying they still have chance to qualify (despite that he is a big 🤥)

Any source?

    • What are the odds WTA/ITF has Kostyuk vs Potapova AO R1 just to see if the hand shake happens?
    • Malinin  opted for the 4-Axel in his Short Program, but faltered, landing him in 3rd thus far (and only 0.05 away from 4th!).  Surely he has the tools to rise back up in the Free Program.  (Also, perhaps this will serve to show him that he is in fact beatable.)
    • I think they incorrectly translated Ukrainian word "nahorody" - it is not a full synonym of "medal". Its cocrrect translation is "award". Meanwhile russian tennis playes switched for Potapova ->  Rakhimova ->
    • Ukrainian diver Lyskun switches allegiance to Russia, loses all medals | Olympics News | Al Jazeera   'loses all medals'   I would assume Al Jazeera could have been a bit clearer and mention this would presumably only be national medals. I mean, it's not like the Ukrainian federation, or any single federation for that matter, has the power to strip her of her world and European championships medals I hope (not for her sake, but because that would be a super weird precedent)
