Looks like races are cancelled today, but they decided to hold a final race tomorrow, after the medal race. This means :NOR and :BRA are qualified since they reached the medal race while two more quotas will be decided after the final race.

Finn right now must be the highest level sailing event in the americas but still isn't in the pan am games...

 

Oh well, we still have 49er FX with 5 countries :p

This is technically the World qualifier, I assume Europeans didn't want to go sailing in Australia in December at the Gold Cup.

 

At least they were nice enough to give Europe one more chance to pass the United States to avoid a horrible result for the continent.

      There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)
