heywoodu 13,825 Posted April 20, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2019 Jumbo-Visma's team: • Primoz Roglic • Robert Gesink • Laurens De Plus • Antwan Tolhoek • Jos van Emden • Koen Bouwman • Tom Leezer • Paul Martens As has been known for quite some time, the Giro is Roglic' GC of this year and the seven others are there to support him (and I hope Gesink can get a bit of a free role). If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Federer91 2,276 Posted May 4, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2019 Bernal with a training injury and is out of the Giro. Not the best start for Sky 2.0. I'm already liking it.
Federer91 2,276 Posted May 7, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2019 I think all teams are now official. My excitement is back in full force after a so-so classics. Of course main factor is Nibali, who is attempting to find his form after 3 years. With his resume, he is always a contender for the win, but honestly i can't see more than a podium. His team won't bring any help as usual. Dumoulin and Roglic start at the top, but knowing the Giro weather and surprises nothing is certain. Gianlu33 3,736 Posted May 7, 2019 #5 Share Posted May 7, 2019 Passo Gavia is covered with snow after recent snowfalls. If the race will not able to climb it, the peloton will climb the Mortirolo twice
