Lopušanová - Austria  5-4 :p

3+2 Tonight not even trying hard to be fair,

every shift with Nela on ice, 80% of time she had the puck on her stick in O-Zone doing whatever she wanted to do. Was not really fair to Austria sometimes, circling all 5 players from left to right and then back from right to left still the puck on her stick just for fun :d

every shift with Nela on the bench, was a mayhem for us, Austria was in our D-zone and scored 4 goals.

so yep, Lopušanová - Austria 5-4.

This girl will be something with a big S in the future I assure you

:SVK Day 2 at EYOF 2023

. Two Top 10s and first Hoxkey win for Team Slovensko at Day 2 of the EYOF

.Lea Popovičová improved her yesterday 7th place from 1500m by one place and finished 6th in Todays 500m Short Track sprint by winning the Final-B

.The Short Track Speed Skating Mixed relay advanced to Final-B, where it will tomorrow race for 5th-8th places

.Tamara Mesíková wrote Slovak history finishing in Top 10 of the Ski Jumping competition. The 15 years already experienced ski jumper ended her first Olympic-style-event debut in 9th place in the Girls Normal Hill event

. Slovak Girls Ice Hockey Team signed its first win of the tournament defeating the co-host nation :AUT in Spittal 5-4.

.All 5 goals were directed and scripted by Nela Lopušanová, the Super-talented 14 years old :SVK phenom scored a hattrick and added 2 goal Assists. Already leading the Tournament Scoreboard with 4 Goals and 3 Assists (7 points) in 2 games.

.Sadly yesterday´s very painful and injust defeat against Switzerland will means the team will play very likely only for 5th place, if by some extremely unlikely miracle the girls will not beat Finland in preliminary groups last match tomorrow in Regulation Time.

.The Boys team lost in its opening game to Slovak hockey eternal nemesis :FIN 2-4 despite leading twice in the match 1:0 and 2:1.

.The lead was so unexpected that even the Udine local arena speaker was confused and after we opened the score he by mistake announced the goal wrongly scored by team Finland :p

    • Its a bit off top, but Turkmenistan also was only one country in the world without official case of covid
    • In the USSR, when Stalin died, there was de-Stalinization but some of his monuments remained, although, for example, the names of cities were changed. I feel sorry for the people living in Turkmenistan or smiliar countries but what can be done? The USA could to introduce some civilized life in Afghanistan but this government was so weak that it fell a few weeks after the Americans left. It would probably be similar here.
    • I love to see more competitions but we had the highest level for 6 weights in Paris, non-Olympic events also needed a top tier competition for this year of 2024.   considering the fact that the IOC is shrinking the competition to just 16 per weight, it wouldn't that bad to have a full 10 weight competition for each style, giving the chance to everybody.   but we would see lots of big names not participating because of the Olympics (and the recovery time after that) so I think that was the best solution.    ps: if it was up to me entirely  I think 8 weights is good enough for men (6 is too less, 10 is too much) and all of them should be in the Olympics. but unfortunately it's up to King T. and his goons.
