Even Polish commentators noticed how Slovakia tends to perform the best in their first match and then....

 

Technically a draw in the last game vs Romania could be good enough to qualify though.

Well, technically we are still the biggest outsider of this tournament, Team from pot 5. In every match our opponent is clear favorite, so losing to Ukraine is only logical. But, then you have the film of the match and here we can have some regrets.

Very passive and fearful performance in the second half, I don´t know what happened at the half time break, but during that break they literally ruined their sole life chances, firstly as Slovak team in this tournament and secondly their individual careers. Now we will finish fourth, we will go home, the logic will be followed, but the feeling of a wasted once life chance will remain, unfortunately only for the players, no one else outside of Slovakia will remember them.
