dcro 10,193 Posted January 4, 2023 #183 Share Posted January 4, 2023 One wonders why don't they just hold more races in North America... This is pathetic and really just unsustainable at this point. Gianlu33 1 #banbestmen

I pointed the amount of DNF in that race, 21 skiers which is a 1/3 of the starters, quite unusual. In Ga-Pa 16 skiers DNF the first round, which is high number as well. North America would have to stage races in November/early December or March like it used to until the late 80s. With Lake Louise set to be dropped the NA venues are being scaled back as we speak anyway and if it wasn't for Shiffrin we wouldn't even have the Killington races IMO. Men's speed races in Beaver Creek would be the only NA round.
dcro 10,193 Posted January 4, 2023 #188 Share Posted January 4, 2023 I have never seen snow conditions as bad as today in Garmisch. That's saying a lot. #banbestmen

Mid-week races in the Sunshine would be prime time in Europe, for instance... #banbestmen
